ANNE C. WITT Cello

 

PAST PRESIDENT OF ASTA with NSOA, ANNE C. WITT taught strings in the Austin, Texas public schools for 14 years.

She was a cellist in the Austin Symphony for 22 years, Director of the University of Texas String Project for two years and President of the Texas Orchestra Directors Association.

Now a member of the School of Music faculty at the University of Alabama, she teaches music education and strings.

 

She is a well known author, clinician and guest conductor.
